Private tuition > Work at your own pace! Don’t waste your time! Express ideas freely and confidently with tutor’s undivided attention! The informal nature of private tuition encourages an active involvement in the learning process and students have to take direct responsibility for the development of understanding.
Advantages
More able students can get through a lot of material quickly without the problem of having to wait for others to catch up before the class can move on while less able students are able to cover topics they find difficult until they are thoroughly understood.

DELE is the official test in Spanish as a foreign language and stands for Spanish Diploma as a Foreign Language (Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera). The Instituto Cervates (the official governmental organization who promotes the Spanish language) is the organization in charge of the DELE Spanish language exams although in practise the exam is set and corrected by Salamanca University.
The DELE Spanish language test is also internationally recognised as the official Spanish language exam for none native Spanish language speakers (like the TOEFL or the First Certificate test are for the English language), a nice way to study Spanish in Argentina.

DELE – Buenos Aires
http://www.ortegaygasset.com.ar/
The Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera normally called DELE, issued by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Spanish Ministry for Education, Social Policies and Sport, are official qualifications accrediting different levels of competence and command of the Spanish language.
The University of Salamanca collaborates with the mentioned institute both in the development of the examinations and in the marking of the examination papers.
That is to say >
DELE is the official test in Spanish as a foreign language and stands for DELE, the Spanish Diploma as a Foreign Language. The Instituto Cervantes is the organization in charge of the DELE Spanish language exams although in practice the exam is set and corrected by Salamanca University. These Diplomas are recognized worldwide by private companies, chambers of commerse and public and private educational systems. The Diplomas in Spanish are ideal for gaining promotion within the labour market and for accessing educational institutions, both in Spain and in the more than 100 countries where the tests are administered.
CELU – Official Spanish Examinations in Argentina
http://www.celu.edu.ar/
CELU (Certificado De Español: Lengua y Uso)- Spanish Certificate: Language and Usage. In October of 2001, the Ministerio de Educación y Relaciones Exteriores set out the guidelines for the assessment of Spanish in Argentina. In June of 2004, a consortium was created by the Universidad Nacional de Buenos Aires (http://www.rec.uba.ar/), Córdoba (http://www.unc.edu.ar/), and the Universidad Nacional del Litoral (http://www.unl.edu.ar/) with the task to design and implement the first Argentinean exam for Spanish as a foreign language.
The Ministerio de Educación, Ciencia y Tecnología from the República Argentina aims to respond to the need to certify knowledge of Spanish as a foreign language. This certification is geared for foreigners that live in our country and foreign students who are studying Spanish at their home universities and are interested in obtaining a standardized Spanish Language Certificate.
The CELU or Spanish Certificate: Language and Usage evaluates oral and written linguistic competence of Spanish as a foreign language in daily, social, work related or academic situations irrespectively of the candidates’ mother tongue or the kind of language training that they have received.
The CELU accounts for 3 levels of Spanish: basic, intermediate and advanced. Broadly speaking, achieving a basic level means that the candidate has a proficient ability to communicate in simple and predictable situations both daily and while traveling. The intermediate level corresponds with a speaker who can deal with family situations and a wide variety of social interactions in a natural manner. Although an intermediate speaker can enroll in undergraduate courses at the University, he/she may still find difficulty in dealing with unfamiliar situations and may lack precision. The advanced CELU level implies the ability to linguistically interact confidently and spontaneously in a wider range of family, social, work related and academic contexts.

Go at your own pace: You can go at your own pace, not too fast or too slow as is likely to be the case in a group, where you can often feel left behind or feel that you already know everything the class is covering.
Focus on your needs: the teacher can focus on exactly what you need to work on. If you have trouble with pronunciation, the teacher can spend more time on that.
And if grammar or confidence -fluency- is your problem, the teacher can work with you on that.

One-to-one lessons

One-on-one lessons are perfect for people who have very specific needs and interests.

Group Lessons
> Spanish is the only language used during time in class, providing an increased ability to understand locals every single day
> Our philosophy of teaching and learning is based on Piaget and Vigotsky principles.
> Our objective is to impart confidence in the student to be able to speak Spanish. Our method improves student’s oral communication and speaking skills. They are encouraged to participate in role-plays and discussions where they are required to speak and listen to their colleagues. This gives them a chance to apply what they are learning and prepares them to face similar situations in real life.
> We stress the power and importance of verbs. Verbs are the engines of the language and have far more descriptive power than adjectives or adverbs. Verbs are the key to life in spanish.
> Our classes aim to rapidly increase vocabulary.
> We are inspired by the European Framework of Reference for Teaching Languages and Instituto Cervantes guidelines.
> Classes are held Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Saturday and Sunday: perfectioning course.
> Conversation day. Every Wednesday we meet at a different “bar notable” of the city, that is to say, we make our lesson while at an antique bar.
> Study material is based on newspaper and magazine articles. Included in the course price. There is no extra to pay. Please note that a bilingual dictionary and a book of verbs are necessary and they are not included in the course fee. Our recommendation: buy them both at a low price at your arrival in Buenos Aires.
> Nevertheless, in spite of this long speech we are just people – teachers – who practice FairTrade.
